Ok, I love onions as much as anyone on this sub, but I think it’s not cool making fun of people who have bad reactions to onions, like this guy is describing.
I view r/OnionHate as kind of a support group in the face of society pretty much overwhelmingly liking onions. I have absolutely no standing to say that any of them are somehow wrong in their perception, or that they’re just being picky or unnecessarily sensitive or whatever. And outright insulting them about it is frankly rather cruel. We should leave them alone.
